  • 3/4 oz. cocoa powder
  • 3/4 oz. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 oz. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 oz. vegetable oil
  • 1-3/4 oz. water
  • 1 oz. egg white
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 oz. OREO Medium Cookie Pieces

  1. Sift  first 6 ingredients into bowl.
  2. Whisk  oil, water, egg white and vanilla in separate bowl until combined. Add all at once to dry ingredients. Whisk just until combined.
  3. Spread  mixture onto parchment paper-lined half sheet pan to within 1 inch of edge. Sprinkle with OREO Pieces.
  4. Bake  in 350°F convection oven 20 to 22 min. or until firm. Remove from oven. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Break into pieces to serve.
  5. For more evenly shaped pieces:

    Prepare batter and bake 10 min. as directed. Remove pan from oven and score mixture in a 3 x 5 pattern in pan. Then score diagonally to create triangles. Return to oven and continue as directed. Brittle will break on scored lines.
